To ensure a smooth and successful treatment process, we have established the following warranty protocols regarding Dental Monitoring scans and aligner progression:
• Compliance with Dental Monitoring: To maintain your warranty and eligibility for refinement aligners, adhere strictly to your Dental Monitoring obligations.
• Check-In Protocol: Complete check-ins within 48 hours of the due time. If unable to do so, notify the Kiwi Smile monitoring team for approval before the check-in becomes overdue.
• Adherence to Aligner Schedule: Advancing to the next set of aligners without authorization from the Dental Monitoring app will void your warranty and make you ineligible for refinement aligners.
• Reporting Misplaced or Damaged Aligners: Notify the monitoring team through the Dental Monitoring app if your aligners are misplaced or damaged. You will be assessed to determine whether you can move forward to the next set or need to revert to the previous set while replacements are manufactured.
• Retention of Previous Aligners: Retain at least the previous set of aligners after progressing to a new set. This ensures that you can revert to the previous set to maintain tooth positions during the manufacturing of replacement aligners.
• Cost of Replacement Aligners: There will be a cost associated with the manufacture of replacement aligners.
If your teeth still require alignment after the initial treatment plan, we provide refinement aligners. To qualify, you must meet the requirements stated in our terms and conditions.
Your treatment will be monitored using our revolutionary Dental Monitoring System. A trained member of our staff will oversee your progress, assessed using powerful Artificial Intelligence. Absolutely. After your in-practice assessment, we will create a 3D Treatment Plan. This plan will show the current position of your teeth and the movements needed to achieve your desired smile.
While it is possible to use aligners on just the upper or lower teeth, it is generally recommended to align both arches for improved occlusion. Discuss this with your dentist during your assessment.
For the best results, wear your aligners for the entire time as directed by your treatment plan. You should remove them only for eating and drinking, but ensure that the prescribed plan is followed closely.
While there may be some tenderness when you switch to a new set of aligners, this is normal and indicates that your teeth are moving as intended. If you experience persistent pain, do not hesitate to contact your local partner practice.
Congratulations on completing your treatment! To maintain your new smile, wear the provided retainer for 22 hours a day for the first three months, except when eating or drinking. After that, wear the retainer every night for 10 hours. We recommend replacing your retainers every six months, which can be ordered from us using the same name as your original order to easily locate your dental files.
